Making Sense of Your Female Body:
Integrative health support for women looking to understand, nourish, & calm their bodies
without the guesswork

“Even after one month of Kelsea’s mentorship, I started feeling like the old me. And by that I mean, I felt energetic, enthusiastic, and joyful. I'm happy that I could find a way to feel that way again as a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids & 2 dogs."

If your body feels foreign…
I’m so glad you’re here perusing my neck of the woods.
I’m glad you’ve joined me in my neck of the woods.
Because whether you are a teen with menstrual cramps or a woman in your 40s with perimenopausal symptoms, you’re probably feeling confused, frustrated, & maybe even embarrassed by your body.
You’ve more than likely reached out to a medical provider (or two) and have essentially been given a prescription (birth control, antidepressants, or anti-anxiety meds) and told “that’s about all we can do.”
Perhaps you’ve scanned the internet high and low for solutions (after all, you know you’re fully capable, but you’re just looking for guidance on what you need to do)… but suddenly you’re overwhelmed by the sheer volume of diet, supplement, and exercise recommendations.
So you’re not wrong to feel confused and frustrated.
If your body has become increasingly a distraction… as if it’s something you’re just having to endure and lug around day by day… you are not alone.
The truth is, collectively as women, we’ve reached a point where conventional medicine has fallen short on serving women to the fullest capacity.
Not to worry - I’m here to share with you a positive, new paradigm shift for women of all ages.
Women everywhere are experiencing certain changes that feel off…
I’m curious if you can relate to any of these?
Women everywhere are experiencing certain changes that feel off
Perhaps you’re wondering why your body is holding onto extra weight despite not changing your exercise or eating habits (and deep down you know it’s not about a number on the scale; it’s how you feel that matters to you)
Maybe you’re curious why you’re experiencing brain fog & exhaustion despite you doing your best to limit caffeine, reduce alcohol, and get rest… and you feel limited in your capacity to think clearly and engage with others at the high level you’re used to
Or you’ve been struggling with sluggish digestion - ie, constipation & belly bloat that just never seems to resolve despite trying various dietary changes - leaving you annoyed that you can’t seem to find the right answers
Or (last one, I promise) why your skin looks tired or isn’t as clear as you want it to be even with using clean products and doing your best to eat a nutrient-dense diet
x
The list of symptoms experienced by women from their teen years to menopause is vast, from painful periods to mood swings to anxiety to bladder control issues.

Modern day stressors have stretched the capacity of our physical bodies as women, hence the vast array of physical symptoms felt by women across the globe.
The pressure to look good, feel good, perform at high levels, and be all things to all people has left women exhausted and, if you’re anything like me when I was in my mid-30s, feeling as if you are moving through an identity crisis.
As a woman, you’ve been sold into the idea that you have to work hard and do more to improve your health and feel like a regular human again.
But working harder and doing more is not the answer.

I want to start by sharing something with you…
Here’s what you need to know in 11 minutes
‘Doing more’
is different than
‘Being Effective’
Me being an outside-of-the-box thinker, I started calling the idea of ‘doing more’ into question
And you might be, too, if you are:
• finding that you’re managing to squeeze exercise in where you can in your busy days, but the exercise (which is supposed to be enjoyable) is not really all that rejuvenating and it doesn’t seem to be giving you the results you want
• trying ‘all the things’ to manage your stress via meditation, yoga, journaling, breathing, maybe essential oils… but it seems like no matter how hard you try to control those anxious feelings, you’re still lying awake at night ruminating (or you feel a sense of pressure to keep up during the day)
• wondering if you need more supplements or if you should be cutting something more out of your diet (go gluten free? Whole 30? go keto?), but expensive supplements and having a bare bones diet isn’t exactly enticing
• always wanting to know what else you should be doing…so you’re doing personal research, reading books, and binging podcasts - (your curiosity is to be celebrated by the way) - yet it’s almost causing more confusion because there’s either too much or you’re not sure how to implement what you’re learning about
Now if any of that noted above rings true for you, you’re clearly a hard worker and you care - I’m glad you’re here because there is a gap in what you’re being told to do vs what your body, mind, & spirit actually need as a modern day female…

If you’re seeing diminishing returns from the efforts you’re putting INTO your health vs what you’re actually getting BACK, making you feel that there are parts of you that you intuitively know aren’t being tended to (and you’re thinking, “there’s gotta be a better way”)… then here’s what you need to know:
Symptoms that you are feeling in your body are
not your fault:
As a woman, you’ve been trained to adopt a hyper-masculinized approach to living, working, & caring for yourself
(ie, this is the constant pushing, counting, achieving, calculating, striving, & always trying to ‘find motivation’)
This can only be kept up for so long.
And by the time you hit your late 30s or 40s, the constant hustle puts more and more pressure on you, your body, your nervous system, & your hormones.
This is the opposite of how our bodies thrive as women (of any age, teenagers included).
From a biological perspective, we are cyclical beings. Our hormones ebb and flow through the month, the seasons, and the decades. We are designed for periods of rest and periods of higher mental/physical output.
From an energetic perspective, we are innate feelers. At a deep level, we sense the subtleties of the world around us. We are Intuitive, creative, and natural nurturers.
And these powerful facets to what make us so unique as women have long been stifled and placed into a little black box and labeled as ‘wrong’ or ‘weak’ or ‘not to be opened.’
I’m here to help you open that little black box that holds all of those important pieces to you so that we can balance your life and health using a more feminine and sacred approach.
One that helps you know how to listen to your body's cues & respond to them rather than constantly fighting urges or overworking all just to hit that dreaded plateau.
And one that helps you feel connected to your body and have complete confidence, understanding, & trust in your body and in yourself.
I’ve walked this journey myself. I know how dysregulating this world can feel. So I’m here to help you get to know the body you’re in and how to finally nourish yourself in a way that feels sustainable and personalized to you.
Which is why I created…

The mission within
is two-fold:
This is for you if you are ready to experience a deeper understanding about your female body so that you can finally feel confident knowing exactly how to nourish yourself for improved menstrual health, energy, emotional regulation, and overall physical wellbeing. This is what I call Body Literacy. You’ll begin to know your body’s language better than anyone else.
This is also for you if you know yourself to be a highly sensitive person and a strong empath. While I believe all women are highly sensitive, some of us are extremely ‘open’ and the world can feel very intense. If you’re ready to learn how to regulate your energy and emotions from a more grounded, centered place without chronically holding the pain/emotions of others, this space is for you.
…
Because I suspect you’re ready to:
Become a confident advocate for yourself - saying no and/or asking for help without guilt - so you no longer feel like you have to hide the Truth of who you are and what you want
Clear up the confusion around what it means to fuel your body well through a more women-specific lens so that you no longer feel like you have to count calories and restrict (or overthink) what you eat and instead you can feel confident eating based on your body's specific needs without relying upon protein powders and restricrive diets
Enjoy a healthy relationship with movement and exercise so that you can move your body in ways that don’t cause additional pain nor depletion (but it still feels highly nourishing and enlivening)
Feel a greater sense of self trust, inner reliance, and groundedness despite any continued chaos that ensues externally in the world (ie, you no longer feel like a ship at sea battered around by rough seas… instead you’re anchored & centered)
Go to sleep at night (and wake up each morning) with a deep inner knowing that you’re never alone and that you are fully resourced… in your body, your life, and your Spirit
If you don’t already know me…
My name is Kelsea Cannon
And I am coming to you from North Bend, Washington.
It all started with an intense curiosity that grew into an epic adventure...
The longer I practiced as a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, the more I was bothered by the fact that women were feeling unseen and undervalued.
Women would bravely come into the PT clinic seeking support for chronic joint pain, belly bloat/chronic constipation, feeling disconnected from their bodies, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
They’d voice their concerns about their very real challenges and barriers to healing (processing past trauma, raising kids, tending to aging parents, busy jobs, commutes, feeling over-committed/overwhelmed).
I felt compelled to follow this intense curiosity inside of me that wondered "how do we actually address these challenges that permeate women's lives and leave them feeling depleted and unfulfilled?"
This was simultaneously when I, too, was experiencing chronic fatigue & worsening anxiety, completely affecting my work life & personal relationships. Through the brain fog, I would push through long work days (I had a lot of guilt calling in sick) and then come home exhausted (I think my husband would tell you I wasn't much for company during that time).
My clients were tired. I was tired. Things had to change.
It became clear to me that the ‘the harder you work, the more you gain’ mentality is not supportive of women who want to better understand their bodies as well as feel a deeper sense of purpose in life.
What started as an intense curiosity, has grown into both an epic exploration and a more full understanding of the innate intelligence of our bodies as women.
It became increasingly important for me to build a space for all of you women interested in developing a deeper appreciation for your own unique voice (so that you can self-advocate from a grounded place) as well as to help you restore your relationship with your body, the boundaries you hold, the food you choose to consume, the exercise you wish to pursue, and even your relationship with rest, pleasure, & play so that you can truly enjoy the freedoms of the body and the life you're in without feeling weighed down by confusion, stress, or exhaustion.
So on that note, I'm so glad you're here!

“Working with Kelsea was engaging, informative, fun, & introspective. I worked with her in a group format and being with the other women in the small group 1x/week was fun to look forward to, as it was inspiring to connect, share, & watch each other grow. The 1:1 private calls with Kelsea were helpful because they allowed me to more deeply explore nagging issues. I loved the plethora of info I can now reference & apply to my life in small doses. Definitely recommend!”

From Disappointment
To Renewed Hope
On behalf of modern medicine, I apologize that you, as a woman, have been underserved.
Conventional healthcare has not done a good job at listening to you and guiding you, as a woman, in your health challenges (I’ve had this same experience).
It’s not that medical providers don’t want to help you - it’s that they don’t know how.
The good news: things are changing - there have been and will continue to be improvements within women’s healthcare.
It’s important that, as a modern day woman with modern day stressors, your body is fully resourced with tools that bridge both conventional healing practices (medications, supplements, lab testing, etc) as well as holistic practices (breath work, nervous system regulation, earth-centered healing, understanding your own Intuition, getting to know your subconscious mind, and even prayer/spirituality).
I’m here to be a bridge to help you explore the subtle and unseen between modern medicine and holistic practices that support your true feminine nature.
Feel renewed hope.
I’m going hold you and support you through this ebb and flow so that you can feel lighter and more clear in the long run.
We focus less on pushing to “get the outcomes” and instead emphasize baby steps…small wins… we embrace life’s unexpected curveballs… and we embrace when we don’t always have the answer (*gasp*) but we trust that it will come in perfect time.
And this is how we use a more balanced, feminine approach to women’s health.
Here’s how we do it within
Shift from chaos to under control.
Female hormone regulation during all seasons of life requires a healthy stress response. We’ll tend to your nervous system and recalibrate your stress response so that you’re no longer reacting to your days from a place of stress (and feel like you can’t keep up) but instead you’re responding to your days from a place of grounded energy and vitality. You’ll have more bandwidth for navigating challenges & you’ll feel a natural sense of calm, boosting your sense of trust & control over your body. I call this Nervous System Prosperity. You feel less shame and more sacred.
Eat well, obsess less, enjoy more.
Learn practical yet powerful women-specific upgrades for your nutrition that remove the guesswork around how best to nourish yourself in a way that helps you feel regulated and comfortable in your skin without having to obsess over what you “should” be eating. Go from feeling like you need to count calories or ‘burn off what you ate’ to instead feeling completely satisfied enjoying real food (having dinner with family & friends will be much more enjoyable). No more 11am jitters, 2pm energy dips, or 3am wake-ups.
Restore your energy with less effort.
You’ll get the simple science behind your unique feminine cycles (yes, this includes your hormones… but also includes your blood sugar rhythms) so that you know exactly how to read your body’s cues without pressure to push through fatigue. Your daily energy will increase, your blood sugars will stabilize (helping to regulate cravings), & your body will begin to feel ‘more efficient’ even when you’re at rest. These practices will help strengthen your connection with your feminine intuition and understand the role it plays in your health, so that you feel confident setting boundaries without guilt and make quicker decisions without brain fog, fatigue, or any other physical symptom slowing you down.
The Bonus Byproduct
You’ll naturally drop the pressures you feel from the world to be perfect.
This is a biggie. Now more than ever, people pleasing, peace keeping, & perfectionism are major drivers to chronic symptoms, hormone dysregulation, & menstrual issues because they keep you from feeling safe in your body. They drive your female nervous system into overdrive so that you can ‘keep performing’ (it’s what I call a shame cycle). I want to share with you some practical strategies and simple energetic shifts (including but not limited to relaxing hypnosis, restorative nervous system regulation, & comfortable somatic pelvic bowl exercises) that will help you go from feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders (or in your pelvis!) to instead feeling lighter, more grounded, and better regulated without being consumed over what other people think.
Even educated doctors struggle in trying to figure out their own bodies
I always like to share the story of my client, Cassie. Cassie thought that being a medical doctor meant that she should know how to care for herself because she knew so much about the body. Only, the pace & demands of being a doctor were stopping her in her tracks… until we connected.
Dr Cassie’s words of wisdom:
“Your health is a commitment on multiple levels. And when was the last time you made a deep and loving commitment to yourself? If you have an unexplainable feeling that you are not living the life you were meant to live, give yourself this gift. This gift of being able to speak your needs and desires with Kelsea and being supported so you can finally feel more free, grounded, & fulfilled. You’ll be surprised when you finally say your desires out loud to someone…it’s like a renewed sense of purpose that you’ve never felt before.”
With our work together, Cassie went:
from:
Living in a constantly stressed state as a doctor - and despite squeezing in work outs in an effort to destress - she still felt exhausted and isolated (she said “I feel like I have every stress induced ailment in the book”)
X
Feeling conflicted on how to prioritize herself because her clinic schedule always seemed to come first, even when she tried to build personal time into her schedule or set boundaries (ultimately, nothing she tried was ‘sticking’)
X
to instead:
Implementing a refreshing and integrative approach to her nourishment routine even with a busy schedule - which included therapeutic levels of rest that had her saying “I feel like a new woman” - leaving her more satisfied, energized, & grounded even when life remained full and unpredictable
Deepening her abilities to set boundaries without guilt so that she could prioritize her health needs without the second-guessing nor being persuaded by others’ opinions.

Designed by women, for women.
The hundreds of women whom I’ve worked with over the years have helped me create a judgment-free space where women can feel supported and make gains without pressure to change who they are in their heart of hearts.
This mentorship is specially designed to help you GO FROM FEELING:
X Overwhelmed by everything you have to do to maintain your health on top of already feeling busy with work/family life
X Like you have to override your personal boundaries to please others, causing resentment that leaves you feeling isolated and unseen
X Frustrated that you’re working so hard in physical therapy, counseling, & with your food/exercise choices but not seeing the results you want, leaving you to wonder “what else is it that I need to be doing?!”
TO INSTEAD FEELING:
✓ Greater levels of self-trust so that you can drop the guilt and no longer second guess what you choose to prioritize each week (exercise? rest? work? play? family? you’ll learn how to efficiently braid it all into your life without pressure to ‘do it all’)
✓ Confident setting healthy boundaries without guilt in your work and personal life, helping your weeks feel more spacious, reducing the heaviness of anxiety weighing you down
✓ Fully in tune with your own body and the cues it’s sending you, helping you discern when your body can handle increased work loads and when you need to take your foot off the gas pedal (this will revolutionize how you approach your sleep, exercise, work, and social routines, ultimately helping you feel restored energy levels without the over-efforting)
You might be feeling mostly pretty good,
but if you still feel a tad off…
When my client, Zoya, first reached out, she thought she was having symptoms from what she described as ‘bad habits’ established during the pandemic. She felt mostly pretty good, but couldn’t put her finger on why she still felt off. Without our work together, she came to realize she was experiencing perimenopausal symptoms without knowing it.
With some gentle refining, she went from:
X waking up at 3-4am consistently, leaving her tired once her alarm went off
X not loving the way her clothes fit due to an extra 6-7 pounds that started during covid
X feeling sluggish in her digestive system and she didn’t have the energy for her beloved hobbies (like yoga, quilting, & salmon fishing)
To instead:
✓ sleeping more deeply through the night and not waking up until her alarm, helping her feel more energized all day
✓ looking in the mirror and thinking “I finally love who I see” (and noticing that her clothes fit like she wanted)
✓ Having energy & bandwidth to return to her favorite hobbies: reading, quilting, taking her boat out, light yoga at home, & bonding with her two teens
Zoya Writes:
“Even after working together, I am doing SO well! In the past 6 months, I’m enjoying eating more veggies, my alcohol consumption has gone down by 1/2, I’ve returned to weight lifting at the gym (and I actually enjoy it more), and am sleeping amazing (the sleepless night is the rare occasion vs the norm). Also, my digestive system feels healthier than it’s ever been. I’m so grateful for Kelsea showing me this path to health!”
I know you might be feeling apprehensive to hop on a consultation call.
And I want you to know that it’s completely normal to feel apprehensive to potentially schedule an hour long call with someone about vulnerable topics… especially if you’ve been shamed or gas-lighted by medical providers.

But I want you to know this is a safe, trauma-informed space.
If you invest in yourself within
it’s the perfect place to help you:
Enjoy a balancing effect in life: balance in your hormones, in your self talk, in the way you take care of yourself, in how your work & personal life fit together, & balance in feeling valued in your relationships (sounds amazing, right?)
Rediscover who you are and your own personal identity… and begin to pursue what lights you up, what gets you out of bed with purpose, and what keeps you moving forward all *without* being stopped by fear (ie, those critical thoughts that say “Yeah but, will this work for me? Who am I to do this? What if I fail?”)
Experience magic that unfolds for months or even years after our time together. Our goal isn’t to ‘fix everything’ in 3-6 months (also, you don’t need fixed because you’re not broken). Our goal is really to help you feel more confident in your path moving forward, your healing journey, and in your body. And helping to gently reroute you in a way that feels right for you, using practices that you’ll continue to enjoy over the long term.
And just so you know, this approach to women’s health is designed to help you remain devoted to yourself but not in a rigid, linear kind of way (our work is more like an infinity loop… or a fluid dance).
In other words, you won’t find boxes to constantly check, worksheets, homework assignments, must dos, rigid rules, & constant tracking (steps, calories, macronutrients, etc) in this container.
Nor will I suggest you dose up on all sorts of supplements (we’ll be very intentional about that - but no - our goal is to support your liver, not overwhelm it).
If you’re a Human Design junkie, I’m a 5/2 Projector. Like an old school projector that plays movies on a screen by taking a tiny image on a film and shining a bright light through it so that it can be seen, my zone of genius is to do just that for you. Shine the light into dark places and illuminate those small dark spots for you so you can see them, address them, and move on with life.
This helps us get to the heart of the matter more quickly (aka, the ‘root cause’) - which is why this work often feels so much more efficient for women.
We have fun, we laugh, we enjoy each other’s company, but we get down to business.

“The ongoing support from Kelsea is priceless! The support isn't just a directive on what to do but it's a thoughtful process that gave me the ‘how to’ and helped me think through barriers that stood in my way of feeling more confident in my health & healing. In working with Kelsea, I came to appreciate who I am and how to work with the body I was born into and how to find strategies that already fit into my current lifestyle.”
— Christa K.
is perfect for you if:
✔ You’ve already experienced relief with other forms of health support (physical therapy, mental health support, acupuncture, massage, etc) but you still feel like something’s missing because bothersome symptoms seem to be lingering and/or you simply aren’t feeling fulfilled in your life as it is
✔ You have a foundation for eating well & exercising consistently, but you’re still feeling energetically depleted and you’re craving more specific and holistic support
✔ You’re an action-taker, you follow through, & you do well with guidance & coaching
✔ You want structure and framework but with freedom… meaning you’re not against Apps, supplements, meds, or even tracking, but you don’t want to be loaded up with so many ‘to dos’ that it hinders your freedom, creativity, & intuition
✔ You’re open the ‘woo woo’! In this camp, you have the potential for connecting very deeply with your spiritual self. Buckle up. Personally, it’s been the greatest gift to my own health and life. This just might be a big puzzle piece for you…
This support will not be the fit you’re looking for if:
𝙓 You prefer to rely upon done-for-you-health plans and quick fixes
𝙓 You need to see results before you trust the process (*hint: that might be what’s holding you back from seeing the results you want)
𝙓 You have a poor track record of following through with people or helpful suggestions (no shame there…but just know this work requires follow through and commitment on your part for it to show you the results you want)
𝙓 Your results solely need to be based on the numbers (tracking, calculating, etc). There’s no shame in that either…but know that this container won’t be the space that relies upon you achieving 15k steps per day, certain grams of fat/protein, constant reps in the gym, etc. You’ll eat well, move well, & rest well, but I won’t be writing up strict routines & protocols.
𝙓 If you want more supplements (many providers & coaches offer that, but I’m currently not one of them - I’ll help you refine your supplementation but that won’t be our main focus)

"With the changes in my body in my late 40's, grief from a death in the family, & post pandemic loss of business, I was feeling the need for support, as I couldn't replenish my energy reserves. In working with Kelsea and the small group cohort, I realized how important it is being around a supportive group of gals. Time with friends seems to be the first thing to drop when my life gets busy. Kelsea helped me realized that I know the things I need to keep in my life and she gave additional helpful tips & tools and was always easy to talk with”
